Over the past 15 years, Ausflag has received over 50 000 flag designs for a new Australian flag, either through public design competitions or as unsolicited design ideas from Australians who wish to see Australia have its own flag.
Just as the judges in the 1901 Australian flag competition saw a wide range of designs from the frivolous to the ridiculous to the inspiring, Ausflag has seen its fair share of ideas for a new flag. Some of the better ones are archived here for your perusal. Maybe one of them will become our new national flag - or maybe the right design hasn′t arrived yet. Either way, it′s in the hands of the Australian people!
