Harold Scruby, chairman of the Pedestrian Council of Australia (a great proponent of the pooper-scooper) and executive director of Ausflag, reckons the Australian troops in Iraq have got it right. The defence forces have just removed bullbars from all their vehicles to make them safer for pedestrians.
And Australia′s Lieutenant-Colonel Roger Noble, commander of the task group in Al Muthanna, says Australian soldiers are making sure their armoured vehicles are easily recognised by painting a large red kangaroo on the side. Skippy to the rescue again.
