At noon tomorrow (Sunday 28 January 1996) the Lord Mayor of Sydney, Councillor Frank Sartor, will officially hoist the new Ken Done/Ausflag new Australian flag designs at the entrance to the Sydney Town Hall. The Lord Mayor will be accompanied by the Hon Sir Richard Kirby AC, Chairman of Ausflag and Mr Ken Done AO, the internationally renowned Australian artist/designer, the Executive Director of Ausflag, Mr Harold Scruby said today.
The unique Southern Cross designs in three different colour combinations (blue and gold, blue and white and green and gold) are the results of a joint development between Mr Done and Ausflag, Mr Scruby said.
On Monday morning (29/1/96) and for the following month, 150 of these flags will fly on prominent flag-poles all over the City of Sydney and South Sydney.

The flags are "100% Australian Made" and were manufactured by Southern Cross Flags of Windsor Mr Scruby added.
